Whatever brought you to my corner of the internet, I am glad you are here. Therapy, counseling, or whatever you prefer calling it, used to be a taboo topic but today, it's commonly known as an integral part of our healing journeys -- healing from whatever it is you have dealt with in the past and/or issues you are currently dealing with.
Life can be hard. Adulting can be hard. Parenting can be hard. Co-parenting or blending families can be hard. Being a kid today can even be hard. Losing loved ones is hard, whether it was an expected or unexpected event. Living in this economy can be hard. Experiencing major life changes can be hard. Caregiving can be hard. Doing more than one of the above at the same time can be really hard. Sometimes we just get in a funk and we need help digging ourselves out of a hole. Sometimes we have a history of trauma and need a safe place to process that so we can live a more healthy life. Sometimes we need a neutral third-party to give us non-biased assistance in figuring things out on our own. Counseling can be a wonderful opportunity for you to work on your behaviors, thought patterns, and personal goals, whatever they may be.
I would love to help you get to a healthy, stable place in all aspects of your life. I primarily see adults here at Red Sea Road Counseling. However, depending on the particular issue(s) at hand and the willingness for family involvement, as needed, I am willing to discuss seeing children and adolescents. If you are a parent seeking services for your child, please contact me to discuss further.
I identify as a non-perfect Christian, who, if you wish, can incorporate Christianity into your therapy. That, of course, is totally optional, and despite your spiritual or religious beliefs, or lack thereof, I offer a supportive, inclusive approach to my counseling style.
